Did you say Rochester?

A quick trip to Rochester? Oh that Rochester. Yes, please.

A long way away from the “other Rochester” is a town also named Rochester which is located in Kent, England. Rochester was founded by the Romans in 43AD who built a bridge over the Medway river and a stronghold here. Today Rochester Castle stands where the original Roman stronghold was and is an impressive site. Rochester is also know for its connection with Charles Dickens and even holds an annual Dickens Festival.

If you are in Kent, there is no excuse to pass up Rochester.
